The only photographer Du Bois that I can find active in New York at this time is Henry C. Du Bois. I am speculating that he is the operator of the Du Bois Art Studio, but the center insignia on the card appears to read either "WB" or "BW," so I'm not certain. I have not been able to find an advertisement or directory listing for the Du Bois Art Studio in Brooklyn, but I can't account for Henry Du Bois's activity from 1885–1903, so it's possible that the studio was in operation at some point during that time.
