He did not appear in any of the Guys Cork Almanacs and Directories in 1903, 1910, 1913, 1916, 1920, or 1921. There is a "C Couche" listed as a photographer in Mitchelstown in 1907 that could be Richard. His occupation in the 1901 and 1911 censuses was listed as Photographer, but he could have worked in other studios.  He emigrated to Australia about 1923.
